The Success System Program is a ‘How to be an Artist’ guidebook brought to life with an abundance of online courses, weekly events,  downloadable resources, and most importantly, a community of fellow artists, hosted here on Mighty Networks.

The Artists Business Lounge Success System gives you a framework of systematic steps to help you structure Your Artist Life so that you can achieve your own personal vision of success in a way that works for you. This is no cookie-cutter approach. 

With 20 online courses included and regular coaching calls, this program covers all the moving parts ‘behind the scenes’ like how to: set up your business, manage your mindset, work with galleries, organise exhibitions, have great selling conversations, manage your marketing, grow your audience, sell your art, manage your marketing and so, so much more.

About Your Host

Hi, my name is Amanda van Gils I live in Brisbane Australia and, like you, I am an artist. I also happen to be an experienced coach and business owner. And I am your Host in The Artists Business Lounge.

Over the past 20+ years, I have exhibited in over 100 exhibitions, in a wide range of venues mostly in Australia with small showings overseas. I have had my work acquired, been included in art prize shows organised a touring exhibition, and curated large-scale exhibitions, and projects with other artists. 

But it wasn’t always like that…

For years I couldn’t find my way to ‘being an artist’ and all that entailed. I simply didn’t know how.  Even though I'd been to art school (and loved it BTW) and even though I was passionate and committed and worked hard. 

I felt like there was an invisible doorway that I just couldn’t see and I knew in my heart of hearts, that on the other side of that doorway was a whole world of art and artists, a world where I belonged. 

That time was over 20 years ago and things have sure changed! And one of the things that changed the most was creating an online community of artists (way back in early 2008 in a clunky forum). It was a life changer

Over the past 25+ years, I have also had a career in coaching and business, and as a self-employed business owner. 

Aside from my own practice, what I love most to do is support other artists to realise and achieve their potential. 

That realisation was the seed of The Artists Business Lounge.

I managed to create my own doorway...and now, here is a doorway for you too...
